Meet Doechii. She started releasing songs on Soundcloud back in 2016, and she's been on an unstoppable creative streak ever since. After being encouraged to conform to a certain look, music taste, and even sexual preference, she spent her early teenage years

of society's idea of 'normal'. Her ability to effortlessly pull off both aggressive bars and introspective melodies makes her a diverse force to be reckoned with. In 2020, her track "Yucky Bluck Fruitcake"

This led to her being the first female rapper to sign to Top Dawg Entertainment and then partnering with Capitol Records. Since then she has had an RIAA Platinum hit “What It Is”, been honoured with the Billboard Women In Music “Rising Star” award, and received numerous other accolades and nominations. By staying

setting boundaries, practicing patience, and letting go of the past compassionately, she silenced the voices seeking to marginalize her.
