The Coca‑Cola Foundation Women Empowerment Program, Toumouhi, completes phase 1 in Saudi Arabia
Toumouhi (My Ambition), is a transformative empowerment program designed to support the aspirations of young women in Saudi Arabia through education, coaching and mentoring in the field of sports and wellness.
Funded by The Coca‑Cola Foundation, through Toumouhi, young women will be encouraged to seek employment in the sports industry through up-skilling and re-skilling for better employment opportunities and create their own small and medium-sized businesses. The initiative also supports Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 Quality of Life Program to increase participation in sports.
The first phase of the program called ‘The Toumouhi Challenge’ welcomed thousands of young women to compete in groups in a series of engaging educational events. Finalists of the competition will proceed to Phase 2 – Toumouhi Excellence – for fully paid scholarships through eCornell, the renowned international education unit of the Ivy League Cornell University. Through the platform, young women will have exclusive access to experts and mentors across sports and wellness industries, as well as access to a strong support network to help realize their professional ambitions.
