ASI VANAME

Asi Vaname, an up-and-coming artist whose unique blend of reggae, pop and contemporary island sounds has made her a standout figure in the country’s music scene.

Born and raised in Lae, Asi’s musical journey is deeply influenced by her late father – a DJ in 1990s & 2000s – and her love of Lauren Hill, Bob Marley and & Mary J Blige.  Her passion for music, inspired by legends like Bob Marley, led her to explore different genres and find her own voice in the industry.

Asi’s breakout hit “The One” featuring DJ Dirty Fingerz, not only earned her recognition but also became a fan favourite. The track showcased her versatility, combining smooth reggae rhythms with a fresh contemporary edge, setting the stage for more success to follow.

Asi continues to grow as an artist and is well on her way to becoming one of PNG’s leading musical voices.
