Sanket Ray

President Coca‑Cola India & South West Asia

Sanket Ray is President of India and Southwest Asia for The Coca‑Cola Company. Ray, who joined the company in 2004, was named to this position in 2020. Prior to his current role, Ray served as the company’s Chief Operating Officer for mainland China. From 2016 to 2018, he was CEO of Coca‑Cola Beverages Vietnam Ltd. Under his leadership, the company-owned bottling company was transformed into a world-class organization and set on the path of accelerated growth.

Ray joined the company in 2004 as Regional Logistics & Planning Manager (east). He went on to serve in a series of operations and commercial roles in India, eventually leading to his appointment as Regional Head of Commercial, South Asia in 2014.

Prior to joining Coca‑Cola, Ray was a Senior Manager at Lafarge.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology and a postgraduate diploma in Marketing and Sales from the Xavier Institute of Management.

He enjoys solo travels, collecting vinyl records of old music (owns an exclusive collection). He is also fond of reading books on history and culture.
