Contest Winner: Jarvis, Ontario
A big heartfelt congratulations and thank you to the nearly 600 Canadian communities that were nominated with thousands of stories of kindness shared in the inaugural year of the contest, which coincided with the annual Coca‑Cola Holiday Caravan tour.
Coca‑Cola in Canada has named Jarvis, Ontario as the winning community of the first Canada's Kindest Community Contest – a nationwide effort conducted in partnership with Community Foundations of Canada to identify, celebrate and reward the Canadian community that makes life a little kinder for others.
Jarvis, Ontario received the most nominations per capita with heartfelt stories that highlighted the city’s remarkable spirit of generosity and compassion. Several nominations mentioned Jarvis Light Up – a festive holiday event organized by volunteers and businesses that has been uniting the community and brightening spirits through sparkling displays and memorable events since 2020.

In addition to winning the national title of Canada’s Kindest Community, Jarvis will receive a special Coca‑Cola Holiday Caravan experience as part of the upcoming 2025 tour and a $50,000 donation for its local Community Foundation.
