Coca‑Cola® and OREO® Become “Besties” for the First Time to Launch a Limited-Edition Drink and Cookie
14 August 2024, AUSTRALIA – To celebrate friendship, Coca‑Cola® and OREO® have teamed up as “besties” to create exclusive treats for fans to share with their very own besties for a limited time only. Inspired by “besties” around the world, the global brands have dropped two limited-edition products: the OREO® Coca‑Cola™ Sandwich Cookie and the Coca‑Cola® OREO® Zero Sugar Limited Edition, which are available across Australia from 9th September. Frozen Coke® OREO® Zero Sugar will also be available exclusively at participating McDonald’s restaurants across Australia, later this year.
Like true friends, the brands have come together to create a delicious twist on two iconic consumer favourites, proving that we really are better together. With each sip of the Coca‑Cola® OREO® Zero Sugar Limited Edition, Aussies can savour a refreshing Coca‑Cola® taste with flavourful hints inspired by OREO® cookies, creating a unique flavour experience and combination to enjoy with friends. While the Limited-Edition OREO Coca‑Cola® flavoured Sandwich Cookies brings to life the Coca‑Cola® taste fans know and love, embossed with Coca‑Cola® cookie designs, also including red sprinkles in the creme filling.

For the ultimate bestie tasting experience, Aussies can scan the Coca‑Cola® and OREO® products and follow the easy steps to explore the ‘Bestie Mode’, which allows them to sync up music preferences with their bestie. Once connected to a Spotify account, fans will be prompted with questions to see how their taste in music stacks up against their bestie. A playlist will then be generated with the combined music preferences for the besties to enjoy together.
The OREO® Coca‑Cola™ Sandwich Cookie and Coca‑Cola® OREO® Zero Sugar Limited Edition will be available in Australia from 9th September across major and independent retailers. The frozen variation of Coca‑Cola® OREO® Limited Edition will be available in Australia at participating Macca’s restaurants nationwide and via the MyMacca’s app later this year, for a limited time only.
